The GIFT, a Life in the Spirit

‘The Holy Father, Pope Francis, wishes to convey his good wishes and prayers for a successful and inspiring launch of The GIFT – A Life in the Spirit resource.’

St Anne’s Parish in Chertsey will be running The GIFT, a Life in the Spirit course using DVDs on seven Mondays starting 13th February. The launch of The GIFT in was blessed by Pope Francis;

‘The Holy Father, Pope Francis, wishes to convey his good wishes and prayers for a successful and inspiring launch of The GIFT – A Life in the Spirit resource.’

Pope Francis tells us in Evangelii Gaudium that we are all called to a personal encounter with the Lord. The GIFT will help us to meet Him and to be open to the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives, helping us to live out our Christian faith. The GIFT is presented by well-known international speakers; David Payne, Michelle Moran, Charles Whitehead and Jenny Baker.

Each session starts with a hot supper. The teachings are relaxed, personal and informative, rooted in the Bible, the Catechism, Evangelii Gaudium, and reflections on the Holy Spirit from Pope Francis. The talks last 30 minutes and include testimonies from laity and clergy.
