Come and learn about the Book of Revelation (all are welcome)
This 11 week programme will be held on Tuesday evenings, in the church hall, beginning on March 26th next year with each session starting at 7.30pm and finishing at 9pm. There is likely to be a one week break half-way through the course. The programme is particularly appropriate for individuals with little knowledge and understanding of this the last book of the Bible and is likely to appeal to a number of those who have recently gone through the Alpha Course.
Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come , the name of the programme, is an intriguing study that shows how the kingdom established by Christ in his Church is intimately connected with the kingdom of heaven. Here we will discover what the mysterious figures and images of Revelation mean. We will see how Revelation is more than an apocalyptic vision of the "end times." It is a revelation of God as our Divine Bridegroom and the Church as his spotless Bride, forever united in a heavenly, holy, and mystical marriage that we enter into every time we celebrate the Mass. The programme has been produced by Ascension Press. The excellent Jeff Cavins, who produced the popular Bible Timeline, will be the narrator on the DVDs.
